Tailys began with a simple yet powerful question from my 4-year-old daughter, Ella: "Daddy, why don’t pants have a tail?" At the time, she struggled with severe separation anxiety, afraid to face the world alone.

Inspired, I sewed her colorful leggings with a tail—and everything changed. The Tail gave her confidence, sparked her imagination, and helped her make friends. Over time, my shy little girl blossomed into a bubbly, social butterfly.
